Taking away this right will not stop criminals from obtaining weapons; it will only leave law-abiding citizens defenseless. The constitution declares that this right must not be infringed upon.

Capital PunishmentCapital punishment is the killing of a person by the state for punishment of some crimes. It should remain a legal option for certain criminal cases. The process needs to become better filtered to prevent the incarceration and death of innocents but must remain an option for those who commit inexcusable crimes.

Police FundingThough some would disagree, police funding should be increased to better control crime and protect the people. The police are committed to upholding the law and defending those who cannot, but they currently do not have enough people or funding to properly do their job.

Universal HealthcareUniversal healthcare is a system offered through the federal government that offers medical services to all citizens regardless of their ability to pay. Though universal healthcare seems a promising and popular option, it harms individuals and the economy in many ways. Wait time in hospitals is increased by months, and it falls to the middle, working class to still pay for their own healthcare and that of others though taxes.

Stem Cell Research & CloningBecause of ethical concerns and moral opposition, appropriate allocation of resources for stem cell research must be reevaluated. Scientific advancement can also be increased if the current research direction is adjusted. For these reasons, a policy should be instituted to restrict embryonic research and prohibit the cloning of human embryos. It should also encourage ethical, consensual means of research of other stem cell types.

Covid-19 ResponseThe Covid-19 response in many ways was unconstitutional and medically unnecessary. Though this party acknowledges the tragic deaths caused by this virus, mask wearing should be optional and vaccines must not be mandated. These things should remain a choice and not be forced.

Minimum WageMinimum wage should not be increased due to the consequences that will follow. It cannot be applied as a standard because all businesses are not standardized. If the minimum wage were to be raised, it might benefit certain communities; however, the consequences within the entire economy would soon cancel it out, a main consequence being inflation.

Human TraffickingHuman trafficking, the practice of illegally transporting people form one country to another, typically for forced labor or sexual exploitation, is a serious and terrible issue that must be decreased. To do this a department should be added to the police force to stop and eliminate human trafficking and find missing persons.

War in AfghanistanIn 2020 and 2021, President Biden withdrew the U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Though irreparable damage has already been done by withdrawing the troops, the Unites States government should establish an active intelligence network in Afghanistan to continue anti-terrorism efforts and create a humanitarian aid system for the Afghan people through independent organizations.

U.S.-Mexico BorderWith recent presidential administrations, there has been much debate on the building of a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to keep out certain groups. This party believes there should be a border wall built in order to keep illegal smugglers out; however, a legal pathway for immigrants to come through should be kept available. When this wall is built, there should be an expected decrease in illegal activities.

IsraelThroughout history, Israel and the Middle East have been at war. Many refuse to acknowledge it as separate from Palestine and its capital as Jerusalem. The United States should support and protect the nation of Israel. It should hold true to the Judeo-Christian values it was founded upon, as well as defend the only real democracy in the Middle East, one surrounded by neighboring countries who wish to destroy it.
